She must have been married to a Birch unless she has reverted to her maiden name. She is not Benjamin's wife, (Joseph's brother Benjamin) as Benjamin married Lucy Walker in 1841 and Benjamin appears to have died in 1848. Lucy Walker is recorded on the 1851 census as a dyer and is living at 217 Bristol Street. She is a widow living with her son, George Thomas Walker, (1851 Census Birch, Lucy).
